I have been married for over eight years to my wonderful wife Jackie. We have two sons, a chocolate labrador retriever, as well as two cats.

I am a huge sports fan and my favorite teams are the New York Mets and any team from the University of Virginia. I'm also a big fan of the English Premier League. I have played tennis pretty much my whole life, and still do so quite a bit.

I also enjoy reading. Among the titles I've recently read are A Thousand Splendid Suns, The World is Flat, The Kite Runner, Blink, Freakonomics, How Soccer Explains the World, The Wisdom of Crowds, and Marley and Me, The Shame of the Nation, Digital History: A Guide to Gathering, Preserving, and Presenting the Past on the Web, and Michael T. Klare's Blood and Oil.
